I have been a voice teacher and musical director in and around Scarsdale, NY for over 22 years. My own training -and most of my students' interests- have been musical theater based and mostly for tweens and teens with the occasional adult. I was trained as a "legit" soprano (MA from NYU in Musical Theater Vocal) and Great American Songbook standards and since taking NVM, popular styles as well!

Especially since this last year of Taylor Swift enthusiasm I have coached many singers of all ages to find an increased range and effortless strength! My musical theater students have been able to explore rock and contemporary musical repertoire -which I used to think was a voice type you were just born with- it's not!

I teach primarily in local student's homes or at Arc Stages in Pleasantville, NY with occasional online lessons.
